Milson Airstrip is the one of our Launch Sites.

This is a "H Class" site, with ceiling heights of 1500ft (This is due to restricted access to adjoining land)

The site has an facilities and hangars which we have permission to use.

Because this is an active airstrip, you must comply with Milson traffic control and the RSO's. Currently no air traffic allowed to use the airstrip on Sundays between 2pm and 5pm, all other times by request. So we do have plenty of slots.

Directions:

• Head towards Kidderminster
• When coming into Kidderminster, follow the Safari Park Signs.
• As you leave Kidderminster along the A456, the Safari Park is on your left hand side.
• Take either Route A or Route B then follow that final instructions.

Route A

• Bear left at the next island, by-passing Bewdley.
• At next island turn right, signposted Ludlow/Tenbury A456
• At next island turn left (second exit) and continue up Long Bank.
• After passing through Callow Hill, turn right on to the A4117 to Cleobury Mortimer
• Enter Cleobury Mortimer, heading towards Ludlow.
• Passing the Church on the right, and the shops on your left turn left at the small cross roads towards Milson/Neen Sollars.
• After approx 3 miles enter the village of milson and then a turn right towards Coreley/Clee Hill

Route B

• Keep going along the A456 towards Tenbury Wells.
• Come into Tenbury, just as you come in, you will pass a Jet Petrol Station and then a Texaco Petrol Station on your left. Take the big turn on your right after the Texaco Petrol Station. Follow this road all the way to Milson (3 miles)
• When in Milson, take the next left towards Coreley.

Final Instructions

• Drive down this road (Proceed with caution) and when you see a big white sign for Little Down Farm on your right, turn right just before it.
• Go down this gravel track and when you reach the bottom of the hill, keep going straight on. If the gate is closed, open and close it behind you.
• Park up next to all the other cars.
• If you are new, then locate a committee member and introduce yourself.
