Can we start by saying it was the first Black Knights meeting of the New Year and we were missing one of aour most long standing members Ray Hancox who was taken ill over the festive season he was deeply missed by all today, SO GET WELL SOON RAY and we all hope you have a speedy recovery and we see you back at your pad as soon as you are fit.

Ok, onto the report. Despite the cold weather and the high winds with the odd bit of blue sky it was another good turn out for the blackknights, I arrived about 11.30 am to find that time Sean and Mel had set up the range running north to south a long the runway.

I just parked my car up and set up my gear and within 30 min or so I saw 4 cars coming up the drive, I looked around to see that the yellow jacket was being passed from Sean to Mel, this was later passed back to Sean There was a few flights that I can remembered, Peter Landers monocopter (he is the man if you need any help in making one or use his plan's on the blackknights site), Paul C with his harpoon on 2 x d 12, very nice fight into a 12 to 14 mph wind, I must say it was a treat to see Chris our landlord who come down to tell us that later he might have a mate popping in for a cuppa , and round 2.30 pm he was right on time with a perfect cross wind landing in his twin seat plane. I do hope that Sean got some shot's of it. I think that's it for now.
