Hi all,

Great turnout Sunday with lots of nice flights (although the national HTPB/AP shortage is continuing to restrict mid and high power flying). Thanks to Tracey Fowler for handling the money and admin side of things, Alan for the Teas and Coffee's, Mel for RSO duties and Dave for looking after our teacher friends from Bolton. Thanks also to Daniel and Sid from the Falcon Project for coming along, hope a few of you had a look at some of the hardware they brought along and of course to Malcolm of Rockets and Things and Pete of Pete's Rockets for bringing the shops along. Also a thank you to those that stayed to the end to clear up and help the vendors clear away. Have included the rest of the pics. Will do a fuller right up for Malcolm and the website when I have time Enjoy

Regards Mark

Hi All,

Sunday 17 Nov 02. It was a nice surprise to see so many members early at the Black Knights Flying Site. The day started a little overcast and cold but the rocket gods were on our side for a change. The sky's cleared and there was almost no wind so down to getting some rockets set up, oops I forgot the launch pad, good chap that Mel. Personally I think he has got every thing in that car but the kitchen sink and thinking of the kitchen sink what a treat for all!! We had two shops, Pete's Rockets & Rocket & Things, which was a delight to all who were there. Santa dropped in early boys & girls. Well, there were some good flights, a very nice nose dive and a few decided to float down without parachutes and so on! Mark was RSO for the day and what a day he had with running MAP flights and with all the other flights as well. A busy day a for Mark. Also we must thank Alan M for the tee & coffee, well done to every one and what a great day.

Ray
