Hi all,

It looked like it was going to be a good flying day, as the sun was shining when I got there. I was hushed through the gate by Mel S and Dave B as the flying site conditions was very muddy.
We went a walk-about to find the best spot we could for parking and launch area. About this time Alan of Apo11o was the first car to get bogged down and had to be towed out by Dave Bs 4x4 and there was a lot of pushing and blowing and I must say the camouflage was very good on man and cars.

We had a very good turn out, some 20 + turned up. Mel set up the new multiple launch pad he has made for the Club and it was used all day by new and old members. It performed brilliantly all day. A big thank you for that Mel S.

Spot landing competition flag was set out and it was won by Phil Chalesworth with the coke cola rocket, he got the large Easter egg ( cannot remember who won second prize ) unfortunately Mel S secret weapon was not counted as it had no chute or streamer but it did perform very well. I can see some modification on this model to come. it was a good competition

We also run a raffle for Club funds and prizes where donated by Alan of Apo11o, Dave B, Ray H & others and the mud was still growing.

Mark P and Sean A did most of the RSOing with the help of others and as we all know the rocket gods had there share due to wind & a big rape field as the weather likes to give us an helping hand it started to rain so Mark P called for a photo call by the launch pads that done we started to pack up

A big thank you to the young lady who helped me with the raffle.

We the Black Knights welcomed the new members and we hope you enjoyed yourselves, a thank you to all the vendors Apo11o, Congreve, and Deepsky, and to all who turned up, beleave me it will get better.

Ray or Hank
