I popped into the Model Engineering show at Alexandra Palace on Saturday 22/01 to have a good look round at the various stands, Society/club exhibits and with the intention of picking up various bits and pieces from the large No of trade stands.
As usual the show was a good day out, made all the better of course by the UKRA stand. The folks who set up the stand had done a good job with an eye catching display with large No's of rockets and rocket motors on display. There were also some excellent photographs of rockets taking off and in flight.
A build your own "straw launched rocket workshop" was held during the day, which looked very popular with younger visitors.
The stand was busy through the day congratulations to all the UKRA members who worked so hard to publicise hobby rocketry (Mike, Cath, Marcus, Stephen and Sally).
